TrackStuff - An Introduction.

Hello everyone, and welcome to TrackStuff!
In this post here, we'll go through a brief history of who we are, some of our experiences, and how we got to this point.
So first of all, my name is Alex, and I am the owner of TrackStuff. I've been into cars, modifying cars, motorsport and anything else car related ever since I could remember. Cars and racing are a part of who I am, inextricably tied together; you don't get one without the other.
Professionally, I have about 9 years experience working in the automotive field - whether that be on the service side in shops, or on the parts side. While mostly focused on OEM or OE aftermarket replacement, it has given me valuable insight into either how to work on cars, skills needed to do the job with attention to detail, how to judge / research / test for quality parts, and then how to communicate these parts and/or services to the customer.
Needless to say, I've also been either involved, or keeping up with the performance aftermarket industry since before i could even drive (I vividly remember making a build / price list for cars when I was 12-13 years old when I was bored lol). I've basically been modifying cars ever since I was 16, or going to car events, or participating in grassroots motorsports events. With saying this, this gives myself a great opportunity to test parts myself on my own vehicles, or get anecdotal evidence and feedback from others and parts they run!
As well as all of that, I also have experience with driving and racing. I've raced go karts for 6 years total, have an Endurance race under my belt with RySpec racing (Thank you Richard!), multiple years of sim racing and am on an eSports team, as well as multiple years of Time Attack experience.
With all that being said, I felt like it was time to expand and grow and start my own business. Not only am I driven toward success in general in life, so I felt this was the next logical step in my path (as well as supporting my growing family), but I also felt a desire to pass on my knowledge and expertise to help others out with their passion! I enjoy helping others whenever possible, and I've wasted enough time in my life researching this entire field, so I may as well do something useful with it lol!
This is a journey and a process. We're getting it out the mud here, but the juice is worth the squeeze, as they say. I can't wait to learn, grow, and help out, and meet new people along the way.
This business is based off of my own personal ethos: Passion. Quality. Integrity. I always strive for these 3 principles in my own life, and I will uphold these in the business arena as well. It has made me who I am, and that will not be lost here.
Now let's do some TrackStuff!
